COTTON BATH PUFF
Materials:
* I crochet
hook
* Worsted
weight cotton yarn (such as Sugar ‘n Cream)
* Yarn needle
* Scissors
Pattern:
Round 1: Ch 6, join with a sl st to first ch
to form ring.
Round 2: *Ch 5, sc in ring*, repeat 27 times
from * to *. (You will find that the stitches get very
tight in this round. Gently push the stitches to the right to move them out of
your way.)
Round 3: (beginning of hanging loop) Ch 35, sc
in ring. Sl st in the first ch-5 loop to the left of the hanging loop.
Round 4: *(ch 6, sc) 10 times in same ch-5
loop, sl st to next ch-5 loop*, repeat from * to * for each ch-5 loop.
Round 5: (completes hanging loop) You have
now worked your way around the bath puff and are positioned to the right of the
hanging loop. Sl st in the first ch at the bottom of the hanging loop that is
closest to your hook. Sl st in each ch of the hanging loop.
Round 6: Sc in the first ch-6 loop to the left of the
hanging loop. Sc in each ch-6 loop around the entire bath puff.
To Finish
Bath Puff:
1. After you
complete Round 6, you are now back to the right side of the hanging loop. Sl st
in the bottom ch (on the right side) of the hanging loop.
2. Leaving a
length of tail for sewing, fasten off.
3. Thread
the tail through your yarn needle. Run a few sts in the center of bath puff and
pull tight. This will help the bath puff to keep the shape.
4. After
satisfied with the look of your bath puff, knot tail several times and weave in
to hide.
Final
Notes and Care Instructions:
1. Wash bath
puff with like items (cotton shirts) in washing machine on gentle cycle in cold
water.
2. Tumble
dry low with like items (cotton shirts).
3. I do not
recommend washing the bath puff with towels because the lint from towels clings
to the bath puff!
4. The bath
puff takes a little extra time to dry while hanging in the shower. Be sure to
squeeze all of the water out before hanging it up.
These

all ages love to receive these pampering crocheted gifts! Cotton yarn comes in
many beautiful colors, so pick their favorite color or match their bathroom
decor. All the girls in my family can’t wait to get their new bath puff and set
